We recommend the CCM Super Tacks 9060 Junior Shoulder Pads to all of our junior hockey players. The CCM 9060s provide the optimal combination of flexibility, light weight and protection.
CCM used an anatomical dual-layer base jacket when constructing the 9060s. This prevents the pads from moving around and provides a close-to-the-body fit.
The shoulder caps are constructed with a protective and lightweight JDP foam that provides players with a high level of protection.
Spine and sternum areas included Molded-PE Floating foam for extra protection in key areas.
The mid-section includes Molded-PE foam kidney protection and a removeable abdomen pad. The kidney coverage provides solid protection against cross-checks, etc.
